Cedar is a financial technology company that collects online payments. We are not a bank. Banking services, where offered, are provided by partner banks.
What this page is
This is an honest public statement. It is not a complete legal privacy policy. We have not published a full policy with company registration numbers, named subprocessors, or retention schedules on this site. If you need that level of detail, write hello@usecedar.co and a person will answer.
Payment information
When you use Cedar checkout, the API, or MCP, we process the information required to collect a card or bank-transfer payment and to keep records of that payment. Partner banks and card networks see the data they need to move the money. We do not sell that information.
If you write hello@usecedar.co, we read the message so we can reply. Do not put card numbers, bank account numbers, or government ID numbers in that email.
